The rules of the Signater Affiliate Program: how referrals, link and coupon attribution, recurring commissions, and payouts work.
Last updated on August 30, 2026
These Affiliate Program Terms ("Terms") govern participation in Signater's referral program (the "Program"), operated by Signater Tecnologia Ltda, a Brazilian company registered under CNPJ No. 50.348.626/0001-61 ("Signater"). By joining the Program, you confirm that you have read, understood, and fully accept these Terms, which supplement Signater's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy.
The Program rewards partners who refer new customers to Signater through exclusive tracking links and personalized discount coupons, by paying a recurring commission on the subscriptions attributed to the Affiliate under the conditions below.
In these Terms, capitalized terms have the following meanings:
Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given to them in the Terms of Service.
The Program is open to individuals who are at least 18 years old and to duly organized legal entities. Anyone accepting these Terms on behalf of a legal entity represents that they have authority to bind it. Joining requires an active account on the Platform and takes place directly in the application, in the Affiliate Program area, upon acceptance of these Terms.
The Affiliate agrees to provide true, complete, and current information and to keep it up to date throughout their participation. Signater may refuse, suspend, or cancel registrations that contain false, incomplete, or duplicate information, or that present a risk of fraud, unfair competition, or conflict of interest.
Once admitted, the Affiliate gains access to the Panel, where they can obtain their Referral Links and Coupons, view click, sign-up, and conversion statistics, track their Commission balance, and request withdrawals.
The Affiliate is an independent contractor. Participation in the Program does not create any employment, corporate, agency, franchise, or representation relationship between the Affiliate and Signater, nor any exclusivity for either party. The Affiliate may not assume obligations on Signater's behalf or negotiate prices, commercial conditions, or warranties for the Platform. All costs of the Affiliate's promotional activities are borne exclusively by the Affiliate.
When a visitor reaches the Platform through a Referral Link, a tracking cookie valid for 30 (thirty) days is stored in the visitor's browser and renewed on each new visit through a Referral Link. Attribution follows a last-click model: the last Referral Link clicked before the conversion prevails.
A conversion is attributed to the Affiliate when the visitor creates an account on the Platform while the tracking cookie is valid and purchases a paid Plan within 30 (thirty) days of account registration. Purchases made outside these windows do not generate Commission through the Referral Link.
When a Customer uses an Affiliate's Coupon to purchase a paid Plan, the conversion is attributed to the Coupon's holder, regardless of any existing tracking cookies. In the attribution hierarchy, the Coupon takes precedence over the tracking cookie. Coupons are tied to their holder and may not be modified, transferred, or reproduced without Signater's authorization. The amount and conditions of the discount granted by the Coupon are set exclusively by Signater and may be changed upon prior notice.
Tracking depends on cookies and similar technologies on the visitor's device. Cookie blocking or deletion, browser privacy features, and other technical circumstances may prevent attribution, and no Commission arises in such cases. The records of Signater's systems are the authoritative source for attribution and Commission calculation. Referral click data is kept for the periods described in the Data Retention Policy.
The Affiliate earns a recurring Commission of 20% (twenty percent) of the net amount of the Plan line on each invoice actually paid by the Referred Customer, unless a different rate is indicated in the Panel or agreed with Signater in writing. The Commission applies to paid Plans (currently Starter, Business, and Enterprise), on monthly or annual invoices, and only to the Plan line. It does not apply to other invoice items or one-off purchases, such as additional envelopes, standalone envelopes, separately purchased add-ons, or one-time services. Use of the Free Plan alone does not generate Commission.
For the purposes of these Terms, "net amount" means the amount actually received by Signater for the invoice, after deducting applicable taxes, payment processing fees, discounts and promotions applied, refunds, and chargebacks.
Commission is owed only when all of the following conditions are met:
Commission is calculated per paid invoice and released to the Affiliate's balance after a confirmation period of 7 (seven) days from confirmation of the invoice payment. Until release, the Commission remains pending and is not part of the balance available for withdrawal.
Recurring Commission has no maximum term: it remains owed for as long as the Referred Customer's subscription is active and its invoices are paid. Unpaid invoices generate no Commission. Cancellation of the Referred Customer's subscription ends the recurrence; a later new purchase generates Commission only if it is again attributed to the Affiliate under Section 4.
In the event of a refund, chargeback, invoice cancellation, or fraud, the corresponding Commission will be cancelled or reversed, even if already released. Signater may deduct reversed amounts from the Affiliate's balance or from future Commissions and, where the balance is insufficient and the amounts have already been withdrawn, require repayment. Commissions arising from fraud or from a violation of these Terms are not owed and may be cancelled in full.
Commissions are accrued and paid in Brazilian reais (BRL). Where the Referred Customer's invoice is billed in another currency (for example, USD), the net amount is converted into BRL at the market exchange rate adopted by Signater on the date the Commission is released.
Released Commissions are paid upon a withdrawal request submitted through the Panel. The minimum withdrawal amount is R$ 100.00 (one hundred Brazilian reais). Balances below the minimum accumulate until they reach it.
Payment is made through the methods available in the Panel — for example, PIX (instant transfer to Brazilian bank accounts), bank transfer, or PayPal. Payment details are provided by the Affiliate, who is responsible for their accuracy; payment made to the account indicated by the Affiliate discharges Signater's obligation.
Payment will be made within 15 (fifteen) business days of the request, provided that:
The Commission balance does not accrue interest or monetary adjustment and is not transferable to third parties.
The Affiliate is solely responsible for all tax obligations arising from the Commissions received. Signater may require an invoice or equivalent tax documentation as a condition for payment and may withhold taxes where required by applicable law.
For the duration of the Affiliate's participation in the Program, Signater grants the Affiliate a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the "Signater" brand and the official promotional materials made available in the Panel, solely to promote the Platform as provided and in accordance with Signater's guidelines. The materials are protected by intellectual property rights and may not be modified, reproduced outside the authorized use, or redistributed. The license may be revoked at any time upon notice and terminates automatically when the Affiliate leaves the Program. No intellectual property rights are transferred to the Affiliate.
The Affiliate may not:
Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension from the Program, cancellation of pending Commissions and of Commissions arising from the violation, even if released, and permanent termination of the registration, without prejudice to any available legal remedies.
Information about Referred Customers and conversions shown in the Panel is confidential and may be used only to track the Affiliate's participation in the Program. It may not be disclosed, shared, sold, or used for any other purpose, including commercial outreach outside the Program.
In their own promotional activities, the Affiliate acts as an independent controller of the personal data they collect or use (for example, contact lists and audiences) and is responsible for complying with applicable data protection and marketing laws, including Brazil's LGPD (Law No. 13,709/2018) and, where applicable, the GDPR, and for having a lawful basis for their communications.
Signater's processing of personal data in connection with the Program — Affiliate registration, payment details, and click and conversion records — is described in the Privacy Policy. Tracking cookies are described in the Cookie Policy, and retention periods in the Data Retention Policy.
Signater may change the Program's rules — including Commission rates, attribution windows, minimum amounts, and payment methods — and these Terms. Material changes will be announced with reasonable prior notice, by e-mail or through a notice on the Platform, and do not affect Commissions already released. Continued participation after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. The current version of these Terms is always available at signater.com/affiliate-terms. Signater may also discontinue the Program upon reasonable prior notice, in which case confirmed and unpaid Commissions will be settled under these rules.
The Affiliate may leave the Program at any time by writing to [email protected].
Signater may suspend or terminate the Affiliate's participation, upon notice by e-mail, in particular in case of:
Upon termination, no new Commissions accrue. Commissions confirmed and unpaid as of the effective date will be settled under these rules, unless termination results from fraud or a violation of these Terms, in which case they may be cancelled under Sections 5.6 and 9.
The Terms of Service apply on a subsidiary basis to these Terms; in case of conflict on Program matters, these Terms prevail. The Affiliate may not assign their position in the Program; Signater may assign these Terms to companies of its group or to successors. Forbearance in enforcing any provision is not a waiver. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force. Notices sent to the Affiliate's registered e-mail address are deemed valid and effective.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be submitted to the courts of the judicial district of Barueri, State of São Paulo, Brazil, to the exclusion of any other venue, however privileged. If mandatory rules of the jurisdiction where you reside grant you rights that cannot be waived by contract, those rights remain unaffected.
